In 2012, Project ACTS took a meaningful step toward bringing joy and new experiences to the residents of St. Joseph’s Home. Understanding the importance of fresh air and a change of scenery, we arranged transportation and brought them to a serene garden, where they could bask in nature’s beauty and enjoy a peaceful afternoon.
To make the day even more memorable, our team organized a caroling session, filling the air with festive songs and cheerful melodies. The smiles and laughter from the residents were priceless as they enjoyed the music, clapped along, and even sang with us.
Our volunteers played an essential role in assisting with mobility, engaging in conversations, and ensuring that every resident felt included. This initiative was more than just an outing—it was a day of compassion, companionship, and community spirit, reminding us of the power of human connection.
