Environmental conservation is a key focus of Project ACTS, and in 2015, we dedicated our efforts to protecting our waterways. In celebration of World Water Day, our volunteers gathered by a local river to remove floating rubbish, debris, and pollutants, ensuring a cleaner and healthier ecosystem.
Beyond just a clean-up initiative, the event served as an opportunity to educate volunteers on water conservation, pollution prevention, and the importance of maintaining clean water sources. Through hands-on involvement, participants witnessed firsthand the impact of pollution on our environment and were inspired to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
This initiative was a reminder that small, collective actions can lead to significant environmental change. By taking responsibility for our surroundings, we play a part in ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.
